Jubo Dal has called a dawn to dusk hartal in the district for Tuesday protesting vandalising house of the platform’s leader.
A press release signed by Jubo Dal district unit President Obayed Pathan said police vandalised the residence of Shibganj upazila Juba Dal general secretary also upazila vice chairman Shahidul Islam Haidari at Kansat area on Sunday night.
The shutdown will enforce at 6am and will continue till 6pm, the release said.
Denying the allegation of vandalism, Officer-in-Charge of Shibganj police station M M Moynul Islam said police searched his house as he is an accused in Jubo league activist Mukul murder case.
