Six trucks have reappeared in front of BNP chief Khaleda Zia’s Gulshan office.
The trucks carrying sand, cement and wood were parked there around 12:35pm on Sunday.
Khaleda has been staying at her Gulshan office since the evening of Jan 3. She has remained confined to her office by the police.
On Thursday, however, the police unlocked the entrance to her office but Khaleda did not leave.
The BNP chief had attempted to go out of her office and join a rally on Jan 5, to mark one year of 'death of democracy'. She spent the better part of an hour sitting in a car waiting for the gates to open but eventually had to go back inside.
The confined leader announced a non-stop blockade, protesting the police obstacle and as long as the authorities do not allow the opposition to hold a rally.
Sunday is the sixth day of the ongoing blockade.
The ruling Awami League had swept to power, virtually unopposed, through the Jan 5, 2014 national election which the BNP had boycotted.
