Health Minister Mohammad Nasim has alleged that the BNP-Jamaat alliance is making blueprint to kill the prime minister after being defeated by the grand alliance in all the sectors including politics.
He made the statement while addressing a press conference at Awami League President Sheikh Hasina's Dhanmondi office on Thursday afternoon.
He said: “The BNP-Jamaat alliance has been defeated by the grand alliance in every sectors and now they are making blueprint to kill Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.”
“We were shocked when we heard about the plot to kill Sheikh Hasina,” he said.
The minister said: “India has informed us about the activeness of the militants of 'a neighbouring country' in the plot to kill Hasina, we thank them for the information.”
He added: “The BNP-Jamaat alliance are plotting to kill her [Hasina] with the help of some international organisations.”
While talking about election, he said the next election will be held under the ruling government.
Meanwhile, he declared the grand alliance will hold protest rallies in the upazilas in between January 15 to January protesting the plot against Hasina.
