With Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina in the chair, the central working committee of the ruling Awami League will hold its meeting at the Ganabhaban, official residence of the Prime Minister, at 7pm today.
In the meeting, Hasina might call upon her party members to refrain from making any remark regarding the expelled minister Abdul Latif Siddique who was recently sent to jail for making derogatory comments over Hajj and Tabligh, a member of the central committee told the Dhaka Tribune.
The meeting is expected to discuss strategies to foil the upcoming agitation announced by BNP spokesman Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir, he said.
