AL presidium maiden meeting held

The first meeting of the newly constituted presidium of Awami League was held on Friday. Prime Minister and Awami League president Sheikh Hasina chaired the meeting held at her official residence Ganobhaban in the evening, reports UNB. The new presidium was formed at the AL national council held on October 22-23 in the capital. Members of the new presidium are Syeda Sajeda Chowdhury, Matia Chowdhury, Sheikh Fazlul Karim Selim, Mohammad Nasim, Kazi Zafarullah, Syed Ashraful Islam, Sahara Khatun, Engineer Mosharraf Hossain, Nurul Islam Nahid, Dr Abdur Razzak, Faruk Khan, Abdul Mannan Khan, Ramesh Chandra Sen, Pijush Kanti Bhattachariya.
