BNP can do nothing by giving threat for launching movement and under any circumstances, Food Minister Advocate Quamrul Islam has said.
Quamrul Islam, also joint general secretary of Dhaka City Awami League (AL), made the statement while speaking as the chief guest at a discussion in the capital on Saturday, reports BSS.
"We will listen to the broken records of appeal for talks and movement for the next four years and one month. We have heard the same between 2009 and 2013. By listening to the broken records our five-year tenure will expire. BNP can't launch any movement," he said.
Quamrul said BNP could appear anytime in your previous role of destructive politics, which we have watched at the end of the year 2013.
“But, we won't spare you if you opt for destruction like that in the previous year."
The minister said the communal and militant forces have united against the pro-liberation forces.
“We have to protect Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina at any cost. We can survive if Sheikh Hasina remains alive. Sheikh Hasina is their target.”
BNP and Jamaat are inseparable in this regard. So, we have to remain vocal and extremely alert against the conspiracies of the aforesaid evil-forces, he said.
