A local Juba League leader was injured in a gun attack at Natudah Bazar in Damurhuda upazila on Wednesday night.
Kamruzzaman, officer-in-charge of Damurhuda model police station, said a group of armed miscreants shot and hurled four crude bombs at Awami League leader Aser Halsana when he was gossiping with JL workers in the area at 8:30pm.
Aser was sent to Dhaka in critical condition. A tense situation was prevailing in the area.
A case was filed.
