BNP standing committee member Dr RA Gani was admitted to a city hospital yesterday with severe chest pain.
The BNP senior leader was taken to Ibrahim Cardiac Hospital around 5pm, BNP chairperson’s media wing member Sayrul Kabir Khan told UNB.
Gani complained of acute chest pain in the afternoon, he said quoting the BNP leader’s family members.
He is now undergoing treatment at the CCU of the hospital under cardiologist Prof Dr M A Rashid, Sayrul added.
