Today is the 10th death anniversary of late Awami League leader Ivy Rahman, a victim of the August 21 grenade attacks in 2004.
Ivy Rahman, wife of late President Jillur Rahman and women affairs secretary of Awami League, died on August 24 succumbed to her injuries 58 hours after being seriously injured in a grenades attacks on the Awami League’s rally in Dhaka.
Special prayers will be offered at her residence ‘Ivy concord’ at Gulshan-2 after Asr prayers.
Her son Nazmul Hassan MP, also the head of Bangladesh Cricket Board, has requested family members, friends and well wishers to be present at the prayers.
