Disaster Management and Relief Minister Mofazzal Hossain Chowdhury Maya has urged BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia to refrain from celebrating her "fake birthday" on August 15, the National Mourning Day.
The minister made the call while taking to journalists at the ministry office on Sunday.
Maya said: “Those who celebrate birthdays on that tragic day are Pakistani phantoms. They have not yet accepted the country’s independence.”
Regarding BNP’s upcoming movement, the minister said: “Do not create panic among people in the name of movement.”
