A Chittagong court has framed charges against 59 leaders of Chittagong unit BNP including its general secretary Dr Shahadat Hossain in a case filed over vandalism and torching vehicles.
Chittagong Metropolitan Magistrate Syed Mashfiqul Isalm has passed the order on Sunday afternoon.
The case was filed under the Speedy Trial Tribunal Act with the Kotoali police station on December 12, 2012.
Additional Deputy Commissioner (Prosecution) Md Rezaul Masud has confirmed the matter to Dhaka Tribune.
