Another Dhaka court has rejected the bail for BNP standing committee member Khandakar Mosharraf Hossain in a money laundering case on Sunday.
Dhaka Metropolitan Sessions Judge Ruhul Amin delivered the judgment after a hearing on the lawsuit filed by Anti-Corruption Commission.
Advocate Sanaullah Mia represented the BNP leader in the hearing while Dhaka Metropolitan Sessions Judge Public Prosecutor Md Abu Abdullah stood for state.
Earlier on March 17, a Dhaka metropolitan magistrate denied bail to the BNP leader and ordered him to be sent to jail in this case.
Mosharraf was detained after ACC filed a case on February 6 accusing him of siphoning off over Tk9 crore money to the United Kingdom.
