Police arrested some 13 leaders and activists of Islami Chhatra Shibir, the student wing of Jamaat-e-Islami, from Jamilnagar area of Bogra city on Friday afternoon.
Bogra Sadar police station Officer-in-Charge Abu Haidar Muhammad Fazur Rahman confirmed the arrest to the Dhaka Tribune.
He said: “Acting on a tip-off, police arrested the Shibir men, who are wanted in five separate cases of vandalism and arson.”
