The ruling Awami League (AL) has held a joint meeting on Tuesday afternoon, reported DMP News.
The meeting was held at the AL president's political office in the capital's Dhanmondi area at 4pm.
The AL's associated bodies, its district units adjacent to Dhaka and lawmakers of Dhaka, Gazipur, Manikganj, Munshiganj, Narayanganj and Narsingdi were present at the meeting.
Earlier, Communications Minister, and also Awami League Presidium Member, Obaidul Quader, requested all leaders concerned to join the meet.
