A Dhaka court has granted bail to three BNP leaders in four cases on Sunday afternoon.
The leaders are Gayeshwar Chandra Roy, Amanullah Aman and Abdus Salam.
Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Asaduzzaman Noor granted them bail when they appeared before the court.
They received bail just one day before the High Court bail that was due to expire on Monday.
Earlier they had received bail from the High Court in these cases.
One of the four cases was filed with Shahbagh police station for the torching of police cars on December 24 in the capital’s Banglamotor that resulted in a policeman gettingkilled.
The three other cases were filed with Ramna police station last year for arson and vandalism.
However, the court rejected the bail petition of Aman in the four other cases filed with Keraniganj police.
