Jatiya Party Office Secretary Tajul Islam Chowdhury has been made the opposition chief whip for the 10th parliament.
The decision was made yesterday afternoon at a meeting of the parliamentary committee of the Jatiya Party.
“The parliamentary committee has decided to make Tajul Islam the opposition chief whip,” Jatiya Party Presidium Member Kazi Firoz Rashid told reporters after the meeting.
