The pickets vandalised at least 10 vehicles at Cinema Hall Bandar area of Mahasthangarh, Bogra during a dawn-to-dusk hartal called by 18-party alliance in the district on Thursday.
Bogra district 18-party alliance coordinator and also BNP District Unit President Saiful Islam Saiful called daylong hartal in the district for Thursday protesting the High Court order that asked BNP Senior Vice Chairman Tariqur Rahman to surrender before the trial court in a money laundering case.
The vehicles came under attack in the morning while crossing the area, Bogra district unit BNP Organizing Secretary Mir Shah Alam said.
However, no casualties were reported.
When contacted, a DB official of Bogra confirmed the incident but did not provide details.
