Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has said the first duty of her government is to uproot terrorism from the country.
The premier made the statement at the Awami League Central Working Committee meeting in Ganabhaban.
“BNP has to give up the alliance with militants and terrorists in order to continue politics, said Hasina.
She added: “None can save the militants and terrorists, whoever the patrons are, whichever powers stand beside them.”
Senior Awami League leaders attended the meeting.
