BNP-led 18-party alliance will not enforce blockade on Monday and Tuesday.
BNP acting secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir made the announcement in a statement on Saturday evening.
The party has decided to suspend its ongoing countrywide blockade for the mentioned days because of Eid-e-Miladunnabi, Fakhrul said in the statement.
Indefinite rail-road-waterway blockade will continue from Wednesday, he added.
Eid-e-Miladunnabi, the day of birth and demise of Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (SM), will be observed on Tuesday.
Earlier, BNP had suspended the blockade for Friday and Saturday.
The blockade will begin at 6am, Sunday and end at 6am on Monday.
