Chinese ambassador to Bangladesh Li Jun met BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia at her Gulshan officer on Saturday evening.
The meeting started at about 7:45pm and ended at 8:30pm.
BNP standing committee member Lt Gen (retd) Mahbubur Rahman, adviser to the party chairperson Riaz Rahman and Sabih Uddin Ahmed also attended the meeting.
Khaleda went go to her Gulshan political office at 7:40pm, 16 days after she has been confined at her Gulshan residence.
Khaleda Zia has lost her position as the Leader of the Opposition in the parliament on Saturday following the publication of a gazette notification confirming Rawshan Ershad as the Leader of the Opposition in the 10th parliament.
