Jatiya Party Chairman HM Ershad has been guiding party leaders from the Combined Military Hospital (CMH).
Party presidium member Rowshan Ershad, who is set to be the Opposition Leader in the 10th parliament, told the media on Wednesday evening. She was addressing reporters at a press conference at the parliament.
Jatiya Party had participated in the 10th parliamentary polls for the sake of constitution and democracy, she said.
Jatiaya Party secured win in 13 constituencies in 10th parliamentary polls held on January 5.
A total of 153 contestants have been elected unopposed for the 10th parliament.
BNP, main opposition in the 9th parliament and arch-rival of the ruling Awami League, boycotted the 10th polls. The party demanded the polls should be held under a neutral, non-parity government.
