Environment Minister Hasan Mahmud on Tuesday said the 10th parliament will run its activities for five years.
The minister made the statement while speaking to journalists at his office in the afternoon.
“The new parliament has been elected for five years. If there needs to be any exceptions, the BNP itself has to come forward,” he said.
He added: “Anything is possible if the BNP abandons the path of terrorism and comes to a consensus.”
