BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia asserted that the name of Gopalganj district would be renamed.
She made the remark at the entrance of her Gulshan residence in the afternoon, without mentioning anyone who will rename the district.
“Are you [a female police member] from Gopalganj? The name of Gopalganj will be changed,” Khaleda said.
Addressing the police members who obstructed her vehicle from going to Nayapaltan rally, she said: “Allah will curse you for what you are doing.”
The three-time former premier also addressed the female police personnel by “beyadob meyera” ( ill-mannered girls in English). “Stop scuffling. You were supposed to be on the street. What are you doing here inside my compound?”
