Kazi Zafar Ahmed, expelled presidium member of Jatiya Party, denounced the ‘arrest’ of Jatiya Party Chairman HM Ershad and demanded his immediate release.
Zafar made the statement in a press release on Friday.
In the statement, he said the government arrested Ershad as he had refused to join the polls-time all party government and take part in the election.
