A Dhaka court has ordered to send the detained BNP leader Sadeque Hossain Khoka to jail on Sunday.
Metropolitan Magistrate Syed Atiqur Rahman passed the order rejecting both remand and bail pleas for Khoka.
The investigation officer of another case, Md Abu Zafar Talukder Manik, produced Khoka before the court shown arrested in another case with Tejgaon police station and seeking a 10-day remand for him.
The case was filed following an incident that took place in front of Halim Community centre under Tejgaon police station on October 26.
Defence lawyer Sanaullah Mia pleaded for his bail.
Earlier, Khoka was taken on a two-day remand in a case filed with Shahbag police station for setting a bus on fire.
