Awami League General Secretary Syed Ashraful Islam has urged people to have ‘some patience’ on the ongoing political deadlock.
He made the urge on Saturday afternoon while speaking with the journalists after a meeting with the visiting UN envoy, Oscar Fernandez-Taranco.
He said that the United Nations has made its call to hold an election with participation of all political parties.
Reiterating his hope for holding a free and fair poll, he requested the people to hold their patience so that they can reach an end to the ongoing situation.
“We are trying to fix every issue and hope we will find out a solution,” he added.
