BNP's Dhaka City unit has declared a 24-hour hartal for Sunday, protesting the arrest of party Vice-Chairman Sadeque Hossain Khoka.
The hartal was announced at a press release issued by the city unit of BNP on Friday.
The hartal will be enforced from Sunday, 6am till Monday, 6am.
Earlier on Wednesday, Rapid Action Battalion personnel arrested BNP Vice-Chairman, and also the BNP's Dhaka metropolitan unit convenor, Sadeque Hossain Khoka from a residence in the capital’s Uttara.
