BNP still has time to participate in the polls-time cabinet, said newly sworn-in minister and Awami League advisory council member Tofail Ahmed.
He called out to BNP to provide a list of “as many names as they want” for that purpose after the swearing in ceremony on Monday.
“Efforts have been initiated to bring BNP in on the road to the elections. This is necessary for the sake of both their and the country’s benefit,” he said.
There is no alternative to elections, he stressed.
Tofail said the main target of this newly formed cabinet will be to ensure a free, fair, neutral and acceptable election.
