Police raided the houses of BNP leaders Mirza Abbas and Goyeshwar Chandra Roy, Zainul Abdin Farroque and Nasir Uddin Asim on Friday night.
Family members of the BNP leaders confirmed the news to the Dhaka Tribune.
Earlier, the Detective Branch (DB) of Police picked up BNP standing committee members Barrister Moudud Ahmed, MK Anwar and Rafiqul Islam Miah from in front of Sonargaon Hotel in the capital this night.
The detained BNP leaders have been taken to the DB police headquarters.
