Additional law enforcement agency members have been deployed in front of BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia’s Gulshan office Friday night.
Rafiqul Islam, officer-in-charge of Gulshan police station, confirmed the news with the Dhaka Tribune.
Extra forces have been deployed in front of Khaleda Zia’s office to ensure her security, he added.
When asked the reason of additional deployment, Rafiqul Islam said: “The deployment was made as a precaution considering the recent political turmoil.”
