Sajeeb Wazed Joy, son of Sheikh Hasina, called out “some powerful western countries” to extradite killers of four national leaders.
“These powerful nations never fail to lecture us on justice and human rights, yet they shelter convicted murderers,” he posted on his Facebook page on Sunday.
“I urge them to return these killers as soon as possible,” he added.
Joy is the information & technology advisor to the PM.
The message was posted on Sunday, the day that marked Jail Killing day of four Awami League leaders.
On this day in 1975, Syed Nazrul Islam, Tajuddin Ahmed, Mansur Ali and AHM Quamruzzaman were shot inside jail by the army.
In his post, Joy also expressed satisfaction on the publication of the full verdict annulling Jamaat-e-Islami from registering as a legal political party.
This was what he said: “another step in redeeming the nation from the betrayals of the spirit of Liberation from 1975 onwards.”
