Some 17 people, including upazila Jubo Dal president and Chhatra Dal general secretary on Thursday were sued for attacking a local journalist in Nondigram upazila in Bogra.
Journalist Abu Musa was attacked with sharp weapons during the 60-hour hartal on Monday.
Later he lodged the case with Nondigra police station, accusing 17 people, including upazila Jubo Dal President Alexzander, Chhatra Dal General Secretary Shafiul Alam Shumon and BNP leader Siddiqur Rahman.
Nondigra police station Officer-in-charge Shahjahan Ali said: “Steps will be taken on the basis on the written complain submitted by Abu Musa.”
