Communication Minister, and Awami League Presidium member, Obaidul Quader said an opportunist faction is trying to take advantage of the complicated political situation.
Speaking metaphorically, he said: “Cunning men are trying to fish in muddy water”.
He made the statement on the latest political situation from his office at around 12pm.
When asked to whom he referred, he replied: “The third force, a force outside of two major parties.”
The minister also said there was no other solution to the crisis other than holding the election.
Obaidul said the problem could be resolved through dialogue and urged the political parties to hold such a dialogue.
