Prime Minister and BNP Chairman Tarique Rahman on Saturday joined a meeting with party leaders from Rangpur Division.
The meeting began this afternoon at the BNP Chairman’s political office at Gulshan in the city, said Prime Minister’s Deputy Press Secretary Jahidul Islam Rony.
He said senior party leaders from Nilphamari, Kurigram, Gaibandha, Lalmonirhat, and Rangpur districts and Rangpur metropolitan city joined the meeting.
The meeting is aimed at further strengthening and revitalizing the party at the grassroots level, party sources said.
