Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami will present its reaction to the proposed FY2026–27 budget on Friday, while also bringing out a procession on Thursday evening in immediate response to the proposal.
In a statement, Jamaat Assistant Secretary General and head of the party’s Central Media and Publicity Department Ehsanul Mahbub Zubair said senior leaders will attend a press briefing on Friday to present the party’s observations and position on the budget.
The briefing will be held at 11:30am Friday at the party’s central office in Moghbazar.
In a separate statement, Dhaka North Jamaat publicity and media secretary Md Ataur Rahman Sarkar said the Dhaka North unit will bring out a procession on Thursday evening to express its immediate reaction to the budget proposal.
The procession will start in front of Uttar Badda Kamil Madrasa.
