BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia will be attending two successive top-level meetings on October 19 and 20 with her party and alliance leaders to discuss future strategies.
She will be holding a meeting with BNP Standing Committee members, the highest policymaking body of the party, on Saturday around 8:30pm at her Gulshan office.
The second meeting will be held on Sunday with 18-party alliance leaders at the same place and around the same time.
Sources inside the press wing of the BNP confirmed the meetings to the Dhaka Tribune.
These meetings are expected to analyse current political situation of the country and devise future course of actions, the sources said.
The leaders are also expected to focus the upcoming October 25 rally, a day after the term of the incumbent government ends, from where future course of actions would be rolled out.
Khaleda Zia voiced her determination in holding the rally during Eid.
