BNP Chairman Tarique Rahman will address 14 election rallies across Dhaka over two days on Sunday and Monday, party leaders said on Saturday.
The schedule was announced at a press conference in Gulshan by Mahdi Amin, spokesperson of the BNP Election Steering Committee and an adviser to Tarique Rahman.
According to Mahdi, the BNP chairman will address six rallies on Sunday in parliamentary constituencies under Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC). He will begin at 2pm at the ECB premises in Dhaka-17, his own constituency.
He will then speak at 2:40 pm in Dhaka-16 at Lal Math in Pallabi Ward-2, 3:30 pm in Dhaka-15 at Senpara Adarsha Government High School near Mirpur-10, 4:20 pm in Dhaka-14 at the gate of National Bangla High School, 5:10 pm in Dhaka-13 at Shyamoli Club ground beside Shyamoli Cinema Hall, and 6:00 pm in Dhaka-11 at Sun Valley field in Satarkul, Badda.
On Monday, Rahman will take part in eight rallies across Dhaka South City, including another event in his constituency.
He will start the day with a rally at 11:00 am in Dhaka-17 at the playground on Kamal Ataturk Avenue in Banani, followed by rallies at 12:00 pm in Dhaka-10 at Kalabagan Krira Chakra ground, 1:00 pm in Dhaka-8 on Pir Jangi Mazar Road, 2:00 pm in Dhaka-9 at Manda Tarun Sangha ground, 3:00 pm in Dhaka-5 on Shaheed Faruk Road in Jatrabari, 4:00 pm in Dhaka-4 on Jurain–Shyampur Road, 5:00 pm in Dhaka-6 at Dhupkhola field, and 6:00 pm in Dhaka-7 at Lalbagh Balu field.
