BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir on Tuesday said the party's acting chairman, Tarique Rahman, will definitely return to the country soon.
“Tarique will surely return to the country,” Fakhrul said during a conversation with journalists at the BNP chairperson’s office in Gulshan.
When asked when Tarique would return, he said: “He will return soon.” However, he did not specify any date or time.
The BNP leader further said: “Begum Khaleda Zia is doing much better physically compared to before. The doctors have confirmed that she is in significantly improved health.”
