Awami League staged another flash procession in the capital on Friday, this time in the Dhaka-18 parliamentary constituency in Uttara, reports Bangla Tribune.
The procession was led by Atikur Rahman Milon, general secretary of the Uttar Khan union unit of Dhaka North City Awami League.
Leaders and activists from Awami League and its affiliated organizations joined the rally.
Chanting slogans like “Joy Bangla, Joy Bangabandhu”, they also voiced, “Sheikh Hasina ashbe, Bangladesh hashbe" (Sheikh Hasina will return, and so will Bangladesh’s smile), “Sheikh Hasinar bhoy nai, rajpath chhari nai" (Sheikh Hasina fears nothing, we haven’t left the streets), “Sheikh Hasinar sarkar, bar bar dorkar" (We need Sheikh Hasina’s government again and again), and “Tumi ke ami ke, Bangali Bangali" (Who are you, who am I? Bengali, Bengali).
Earlier, on April 15, Dhaka North Awami League's Organizing Secretary Mazhar Anam led another protest rally with local leaders and activists on the main road of Badda-Bhatara-Rampura.
