BNP Senior Joint Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi on Tuesday said that even after fleeing the country, Sheikh Hasina's mindset remains that of a murderer, driven by vengeance and retribution.
"She has shown no remorse to this day," he said while addressing an iftar gathering and discussion meeting at Rangpur Medical College as the chief guest.
Rizvi said that various videos are going viral, showing Sheikh Hasina speaking and conversing with her party leaders in Gaibandha, Satkhira, and Gopalganj. "If these are indeed her statements, whether conveyed through AI or other means, it is clear that these words are hers."
He added that she has expressed no remorse regarding the killing of 2,000 people.
He further alleged that Sheikh Hasina ordered the killing of Abu Sayed, an incident that sparked a nationwide uprising, inspiring the sacrifices of individuals like Mugdho, Ahnaf, and Faiyaz.
He claimed that these children and teenagers fearlessly stood before the police and RAB, sacrificing their lives, ultimately forcing her to leave the country.
Referring to various viral videos of Sheikh Hasina's statements, Rizvi asserted that they reveal her oppressive mindset.
He accused the Awami League of continuously spreading falsehoods before and after the July movement.
He also demanded the immediate trial of Sheikh Hasina and her associates.
