A three-member probe body has been formed to look into the scuffle that broke out on Wednesday over securing top positions in the newly formed student organization, Bangladesh Democratic Students’ Council.

On Thursday at 4:30pm, during the announcement of the organization's central full-fledged committee, convener Abu Baker Majumder shared this information.

The investigation committee is led by chief organizer of the Central Committee, Tahmid Al Mudassir. Other members include Joint Convener Touhid Mohammad Siam and Senior Member Secretary Naim Abedin.

The members are students from Dhaka University, Jahangirnagar University, and a private university, respectively.

Notably, the Bangladesh Democratic Students’ Council was officially launched on Wednesday at Dhaka University’s Madhur Canteen by coordinators of the Anti-Discrimination Student Movement.

However, on the day of its inception, a clash broke out over leadership positions, prompting the formation of this investigation committee.
