The Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) will hold an extended meeting in the capital on Thursday.
"The venue of the meeting has not been confirmed yet," said BNP Senior Joint Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi at a press conference at the BNP’s central office in Naya Paltan on Sunday afternoon.
A 27-member committee has been formed with Rizvi as its convener.
Besides, six sub-committees have been formed to implement the extended meeting.
Rizvi told the press conference that the leaders of the BNP's National Standing Committee and Central Executive Committee will participate in the extended meeting.
Members of the chairperson's advisory council district BNP presidents, among others, will participate in the meeting, he added.
