Golam Parwar: Sheikh Hasina responsible for nationwide attacks, including Dhanmondi 32

He demanded a neutral administration before national elections

Update : 08 Feb 2025, 08:22 PM

Jamaat-e-Islami Secretary General Mia Golam Parwar has accused Sheikh Hasina of inciting instability, holding her responsible for nationwide attacks and vandalism, including at Dhanmondi 32, amid rising political unrest and tensions.

He said: "The mastermind of fascism, murderer Sheikh Hasina, is inciting instability in the country while staying in India. In the past few days, houses and various establishments, including the house at Dhanmondi 32, have been attacked and vandalized in 35 districts. Sheikh Hasina is responsible for all these attacks and acts of vandalism."

He made these remarks as the chief guest at a workers’ conference organized by the district unit of Jamaat-e-Islami at the historic Moktarpara field in Netrokona on Saturday afternoon.

Regarding the national parliamentary elections, Golam Parwar said: "An election must be held, but a neutral administration is necessary beforehand. The administration is filled with partisans and corrupt individuals who must be removed to ensure fairness. Without clearing these elements, the election will not be impartial. Every aspect related to the election process must be reformed beforehand to ensure neutrality."

He further said: "The accomplices of fascism can be identified through their behavior and statements. If you visit the offices of Deputy Commissioners (DC), Superintendents of Police (SP), Officers-in-Charge (OC), and Sub-Inspectors (SI), their attitudes reflect fascism. Many still carry the stench of fascism in their words. The entire administration must be cleaned. Jamaat-e-Islami is ready to give the government the necessary time to complete this process."

The conference was presided over by District Jamaat Ameer Maulana Sadeq Ahmad Haris.

Special guests at the event included Executive Council member Matiur Rahman Akand, Central Organizational Secretary and Mymensingh Regional Director Dr. Samiul Haque Farooqi, and Executive Council member Manjurul Islam Bhuiyan.
