Saying that the Awami League created an artificial crisis in electricity and energy to indulge in corruption and loot, he said: "The Awami League has looted Tk1 lakh crore just in the name of capacity charges. They had turned the electricity sector into a business sector. They understood that 'quick money' could be made from this sector without any accounting."

He said, the words of corruption, theft and looting by the Awami League are being dropped in political debates. If these words are not said, people will forget the corruption of the Awami League and the country they have destroyed.
He said: "Awami League has emptied the country. If we don't highlight these things, people will forget. We need to say these things again and again. The Awami League has committed the most corruption in the electricity sector."

In addition to BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir and the party's standing committee member Nazrul Islam Khan was present.
