Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami has expressed its support for BNP’s call to create national unity in the greater interest of the country.
Jamaat Ameer Dr Shafiqur Rahman said this on Thursday evening after a meeting with Chief Adviser Dr Muhammad Yunus at his residence, Jamuna.

“National unity is more critical now than ever. We face significant challenges that threaten Bangladesh’s independence and sovereignty and could destabilize the nation. To confront these threats, we must come together and build a united front,” Fakhrul said.
He also raised BNP’s concerns regarding recent events, which were conveyed to the chief adviser.
Echoing similar sentiments, Jamaat Ameer Dr Shafiqur Rahman, after Thursday’s meeting, highlighted the importance of unity and expressed concerns over the current political situation.
