Nurul Haque Nur, president of the Gono Odhikar Parishad and former vice president of Dhaka University Students' Union (DUCSU), talked about the importance of unity and inclusive decision-making in the political landscape.
Speaking at the "Ulama and Shudi Conference" during the historic annual Charmonai Mahfil on Thursday, Nur said, "No political party should be prioritized neglecting others. We must incorporate the opinions of all parties in our work to ensure fair representation. We must also be cautious of small disagreements that could prevent us from seizing opportunities to rebuild the nation."
Nur urged that the slogan of the Islamic Movement of Bangladesh, "Not a leader, but a change in policy," be put into action, calling for collective effort and unity to bring about meaningful change.
The event was chaired by the Amir of the Islamic Movement and Charmonai Pir, Mufti Syed Muhammad Rezaul Karim. The conference saw the participation of prominent leaders from religious parties, along with other distinguished figures.
