Hasnat Abdullah, convener of the Anti-Discrimination Student Movement, and Sarjis Alam, secretary of the July Shaheed Smrity Foundation, claimed that Khaled Muhiuddin was "betraying the blood of the martyrs" by promoting the president of the banned organization, Chhatra League, through a government-issued notice.
This statement came after Khaled Muhiuddin announced on Wednesday that he would be interviewing the Chhatra League president on the YouTube channel of the US-based Bangla news outlet Thikana News.
Sarjis Alam said on a Facebook post: "Khaled Muhiuddin, how many leaders of banned organizations have you hosted in talk shows before? This is betrayal with the blood of over 2,000 martyrs and the blood of tens of thousands of wounded brothers and sisters."
Hasnat Abdullah also said on a Facebook post: "By promoting the president of a banned organization, the betrayal of the martyrs and the national revolution and unity of the anti-fascist movement has occurred."
