Lalmonirhat's Aditmari Upazila Awami League Vice President Mizanur Rahman has been expelled from his position within the party due to his alleged involvement in the leak of Bangladesh Public Service Commission (PSC) examination questions.
This decision was made during an urgent meeting held at the Upazila Awami League office on Saturday afternoon.
According to reports, a notice was issued in this regard, signed by Upazila Awami League President Mohammad Ali and General Secretary Rafiqul Alam.
The notification stated that Mizanur Rahman was expelled from his role as vice president of the upazila Awami League due to activities considered anti-organizational, disorderly, criminal, and undermining the organization's dignity.
Aditmari Upazila Awami League President Mohammad Ali said that Mizanur Rahman was accused of involvement in the ongoing scandal of leaked PSC exam question papers, which led to his expulsion from the party.
