Awami League leaders and activists have gathered at Suhrawardy Udyan and the surrounding areas, with thousands more joining and chanting slogans to celebrate the party’s 75th founding anniversary.
Sunday, marks the 75th anniversary of the founding of the Awami League.
Awami League pays homage to Bangabandhu on 75th founding anniversaryOn this occasion, Awami League leaders and workers from various parts of the country are coming to attend the rally at Suhrawardy Udyan in Dhaka.
The rally will be chaired by Awami League President and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will begin at 3pm.
Around 1pm at the gate of Suhrawardy Udyan, leaders and workers were seen celebrating with drums, bands, and festivities.
