The leaders of the 12-party alliance have complained of police obstruction of the anti-India rally.

The leaders of the coalition alleged that the rally “#India Out, Boycott India”was supposed to be held in front of the National Press Club at 11am on Saturday.

They said that when the rally was taken out, the police took away the banners and festoons.

Later, they continued the rally without banner which ended at Paltan intersection.

In a brief speech, the spokesperson of the 12-party alliance and Bangladesh Liberal Democratic Party(LDP) Secretary General Shahadat Hossain strongly condemned and protested against the Indian aggression and India's interference in the politics of Bangladesh.

He urged people to boycott Indian products and said, will remain on the streets until demands are met.

Shahadat Hossain alleged that the police officers in charge told them that they can organize a rally against the rise in commodity prices, but they cannot organize a rally against any state.
